Always wanted to wander through the Veluwe and bivouac for a night? Far from the Dutch beaten track we make our own microadventure in the southern part of the Veluwe. With a small group of up to six people.
Meet wild boar and red deer and maybe even a hunting fox. The twittering of birds will accompany us throughout the day. In the late afternoon we will make a simple bivouac along the edge of an open plain.
We prepare a nutritious supper on a wood stove and under the stars we share our experiences and the privilege of enjoying nature in this way. When night has long since fallen, we crawl into our warm sleeping bags.
EXPERIENCE DUTCH NATURE LIKE NEVER BEFORE
DAY TO DAY PROGRAM
Day 1 | Reception and walk through nature. We gather around noon in Arnhem, on the edge of the Veluwe. After packing our backpacks we walk into the forest where we will not see many people. We have lunch at a quiet spot.
We stroll through vast fields and through dense forests. In the late afternoon, we prepare our bivouac and cook dinner on a traditional wood stove. When we get tired of gazing at the stars, we crawl into our sleeping bags.
Day 2 | Enjoying outdoor activities. After breakfast, we pack all our gear back into our backpacks and walk back into the field. The nature around us is still fresh, so early in the morning. And after a few hours of wandering, we are back at the starting point around noon. With a head full of memories, we return home.

Directions: the day of the trip at noon we will pick you up at Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem. Amsterdamseweg 505, 6816 VK Arnhem (let us know if you come by public transport, we will try to pick you up at station Ede - Wageningen). Ede Wageningen station can be reached by train from Amsterdam (approx. 1 hour).

The price includes: a wilderness guide. Unique opportunity to wander the Veluwe and sleep in the forest. One night in a bivouac. All meals from lunch on day 1 to lunch on day 2. All drinks throughout the weekend: tea, coffee. Use of wood stoves. First aid box.
The price does not include: transportation to and from the starting point to your home or hotel. Personal expenses for drinks, phone calls and other meals or snacks. Travel insurance and possibly cancellation insurance.
